The location was ideal, just outside the St Lazarre train station and immediately across the street. There are a few good restaurants close by, which was perfect as we only used the hotel for about 8 hours a day (sleeping, shower, dropping off backpacks to go eat). The front desk service was great, especially Alfred!
I thought the room could have been a little bit cleaner. Also, these rooms are very small but functional.
The location of the hotel is great.
No air-conditioning. We happened to be there when it was 30+ celsius and it was hard to stay in the room. Also, the first floor rooms overlooking the street very noisy. It was all bearable because we only used the hotel rooms to sleep and shower.
Location and price was good and was spacious considering small hotel in Paris.
There was no air conditioning in the room and so it can get rather warm . Cannot leave the windows open all night because it was raining before and the rain will get in . Leaving the windows open also mean it can get rather noisy as the hotel room was next to a cafe.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was excellent. There was a metro station literally across the street and several cafes right outside the front door. The room was a great size for the price and location. The staff was very friendly. They allowed us to leave our bags in the baggage room as we arrived in Paris before check-in time (noon) and left after check-out time. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris.
the location & friendly staff. the hotel is just across the road from mainline & metro station so travelling was easy. Also you could walk to great sights & big department stores within 20 mins.LOTS of great eating places locally & if you like fresh pasta, as my daughters do, then you'll love Pasta Mezzo which is 2 mins from the hotel.
No air-conditioning & we couldn't open a window as our room overlooked the front of the hotel, next to a noisy cafe. "Fortunately" , the weather wasn't as hot as it should have been in July so the temperature in the room was bearable.
Location next to Gare St-Lazare. The Gare St-Lazare area is also a good location for a stay in Paris: It is very central with lots of nice restaurants and has access to many public transportations to go around Paris. Free Wifi.
Clairaudient rooms - welcome to Paris. Bathroom need to be renovated.
The hotel is literally a couple of metres from the metro (Cour de Rome exit). There is also a supermarket directly opposite the hotel which was very convenient. It was"ok" on the cleanliness side and the elevator was working.
Our room (608) did have a newly renovated bathroom but the room itself was quite depressing. Dark brown carpet, walls, curtains and bedspread, nothing like the pictures on the website. The room also smelt stale and we had to immediately open the windows when returning in the evening. The passages are super-narrow and poorly lit. The rooms are also not sound- proofed as advertised. The staff were very rude (except the very nice man on night-duty). It took a substantial amount of time to get hot water in the shower. We were required to hand in our room key when we left the hotel. I would not stay here again.
Great location, 100 meters from the train station Saint Lazare. The only problem was when arriving to the hotel after 11 pm from Gare du Nord: the only open metro exit took us far away from the hotel. The next door bar was expensive: a large bier and a glass of wine 22 €
Large room, which has been very well renovated. Good, harmonious choice of furniture and decoration - very zen.
Corridor is too dark Ceiling is low
Best location. Room is simple and small but characteristic to Paris hotels.
Great location, helpfull staff, room was quiet and clean.
Room was bit small but otherwise nice.
the Hotel was located in a very good spot - had 2 metro stations just outside the hotel. Clean room - The staff was kind
Great location close to all major attractions. Price very good for location. Room was small but vey comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay again
Corridors were narrow. Street noise at times was distracting but you have to expect this staying in a busy area
The hotel is very small with narrow corridors, but the staff was kind and the location was ideal being right next to the St-Lazare train station.
